amphibian lake fly-in Lodge
Amphibian Lake Lodge is located 150 air miles northeast of Winnipeg and 110 air miles north of our air base in Lac du Bonnet. Amphibian Lake is a widening of the Pigeon River. With great water flow all year, this lake offers fantastic fishing throughout the season. A special feature of this system is that it offers a wide variety of fish species including trophy walleye and northern pike, whitefish, goldeye, saugers and perch. With many miles of shoreline combined with grassy bays and structured rock points, this lake is a natural for huge northern pike. The spectacular shining falls at the east end of the lake offers our anglers a never-ending abundance of walleye. You truly have to fish this lake to believe it.
Amphibian Lake Lodge was constructed in 1989 and is a four-star, full-service American plan lodge. Having a capacity for sixteen, each of our four private guest rooms has four individual beds and a three-piece bathroom. The beautiful common dining area and living area is where you will enjoy delicious home cooked meals and later relax and share all of your favorite fishing tales, or enjoy your favorite sports event on the satellite TV.
We also have a large outdoor gazebo where you can enjoy a mid-day shore lunch or an evening BBQ while viewing an incredible northern sunset. Do not forget to watch for the spectacular northern lights.
This lodge is ideal for the corporate group looking for all the conveniences, but in a wilderness setting. With groups of 12 or more, this facility can be yours to enjoy alone.
Preserving our Natural Resource
In order to assure yourself and future generations the same fantastic fishing experience as today, Jackson’s Lodge and Outposts has instituted our own policy for slot sizes at all of our locations. All walleye over 18 inches and all northern pike over 27.5 inches must be released. Just be sure to have your camera ready to record your memories.
All you need to make an awesome photo replica is the measurements of the length and girth of trophy as well as some photographs. Replica trophies look very life like and have a longer shelf life than the actual fish.
Remember the fun is in catching, not keeping.
