Little Sass Lake

Introduction

The Outpost

Little Sass is a 45 minute flight from our Float base in Lac du Bonnet located 88 miles Northeast. This camp is in the Atikaki Provincial Park, on the Sasaginnigak River system. Fish for Walleye and Pike among structure such as islands, reefs, sandbars and waterfalls. This lake extends over seven miles and has a reputation of one of Manitoba’s most productive Walleye and Northern Pike fisheries.

Cabin Details

We are the only outpost cabin on the lake. This 2 bedroom, 8 person cabin is located on the South shore in the middle of the lake. Inside you will find hot and cold running water, private shower and bathroom sink, a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, one large refrigerator-freezer unit and gas stove. Outside a propane barbecue and fish cooker is supplied. This cabin is equipped with solar lights and wood stove for heat. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck overlooking the waters edge.

Boats & Motors

Little Sass Lake is equipped with four, fourteen foot Lund boats with 9.9 four stroke Yamaha motors. We supply lifejackets, swivel seats, landing nets, paddles anchors and gas.

Distance and Flight Time

Guests staying at Little Sass Lake will drive to our Float base in Lac du Bonnet or fly to Winnipeg where we can assist to arrange round trip transportation to and from our Float base. Your flight to Little Sass Lake is 88 miles which will take approximately 45 minutes by sea plane.
